Cedar Rapids police investigating unattended death

CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) - Cedar Rapids police are investigating an unattended death.

The body was found in a gazebo at the Oak Hill Cemetery off Mount Vernon Road SE.

A snow plow driver discovered the body just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning and called police.

Officers are investigating what may have happened but say they do not believe there is any immediate threat to the public.

As of 10:30 a.m. our crew at the cemetery did not see any officers on the scene.
