Slim turnout in Denver election for school district improvements

Posted: Updated:
DENVER (KWWL) - Officials with the Denver Community School District want to improve building maintenance and equipment in Tuesday's election.

If approved, the improvements would raise property taxes for people living in the district.

Election officials said only around 100 people had turned out to the polls by late Tuesday afternoon out of approximately 3,000 eligible voters.

North Linn and Central City School Districts also had elections Tuesday for similar issues.
