Super Broncos fans watch game in Denver, Iowa

DENVER (KWWL) -

Whether you are a Broncos or a Seahawks fan or a fan of some other team, many Americans were gearing up for the big game Sunday.

It's safe to say Super Bowl Sunday is a big day for MJ Dolan.

"I didn't sleep last night. It's like Christmas Eve to a 9-year-old," said MJ Dolan.

Dolan spent Sunday evening in his Broncos "man cave", which is decked out in orange and blue memorabilia.

Dolan has been a fan for more than 25 years. He lived in Denver, Colorado for five years.  That's where he met his wife.

"Born and raised in Colorado so always a Broncos fan. I think once MJ and I got together, it escalated to whole new proportions," said Traci Dolan.

Dolan is originally from Waterloo then left for Colorado. When the couple started having children, they decided to move back to the area and to Denver, Iowa.

"When we finally got up here, we laughed with my family and just said, 'Well if we couldn't have the real Denver, we might as well take this Denver'," said Traci Dolan.

"The biggest thing is with going from the mile high city to the mile wide city, it's kind of the joke of all this going on. It's enjoyable," said MJ Dolan.
