The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says two Waterloo women were injured Thursday evening in a crash on Highway 20.
Captain Richard Abben says 27-year-old Nashae Cook was headed west on Highway 20, between the Jesup and Dunkerton exits, just after 5 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, over corrected and then went into the median where the car rolled and then came to rest in the eastbound lanes.
Cook was taken to Covenant Medical Center by ambulance with multiple injuries.
A passenger in the car, 20-year-old Ashley Harrington-Johnson, was taken by helicopter to Covenant Medical Center. Abben says she was thrown from the vehicle and received multiple injuries.
Abben says Highway 20 was slippery due to snow blowing across it.
