Fund established for families of Arlington fire victims

OELWEIN (KWWL) - A fund has been established for the families of the five people who died in a house fire outside Arlington early Friday morning.

Donations can be made to the "Arlington Fire Victims' Fund" at Fidelity Bank in Oelwein.

The bank is located at 201 S. Frederick Ave., in Oelwein.

The State Fire Marshal said the cause of the fire is still unknown.

Authorities in Fayette County have not released the names of the victims.

County officials told KWWL they are waiting for the State Medical Examiner's Office to positively identify the victims.
