Cyclones drop #22 Kansas State 81-75

AMES (KWWL) - Melvin Ejim scored 20 as 16th ranked Iowa State jumped back in the win column with an 81-75 victory over #22 Kansas State.  The Cyclone victory ended a 3 game losing skid.

Georges Niang added 18, while freshman Matt Thomas moved past his shooting struggles, knocking down 4 treys while picking up a career high 14 points.
Iowa State (15-3, 3-3 Big 12) responded in the end after dropping double digit leads on two occasions.

Ejim blocked a potential game tying three point attempt by Shane Southwell with 23 seconds remaining to secure the first win in their last 4 tries.
