UNI basketball road woes continue

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (KWWL) - The road continued to be an unfriendly place for the UNI Panthers as they dropped a 93-87 overtime contest to Loyola on Saturday afternoon.  The loss moved UNI to 1-8 away from the McLeod Center this season.

Loyola's Milton Doyle scored 8 of his team high 28 points in the overtime session.  The Panthers had an opportunity to win it in regulation.  Center Seth Tuttle got a good look after rebounding a Deon Mitchell miss in the final seconds, but was unable to put it home.

Mitchell scored 23 points, and Tuttle added 17 to lead Northern Iowa (10-10, 4-4 Missouri Valley).
