Hawks top Northwestern 76-50 for 5th Big 10 win

EVANSTON, Ill. (KWWL) -

Gabriel Olesani notched a double-double as Iowa kept themselves near the top of the big ten with a 76-50 win at Northwestern.

Olesani scored 14 and pulled down 10 rebounds in the win.  Roy Devyn Marble also added 14, while Mike Gesell tacked on 11.

The Hawkeyes dominated the glass out-rebounding the Wildcats 44-20.  Iowa (16-4, 5-2 Big Ten) opened the second half with a 6 point lead and dominated down the stretch with a 46-26 second half advantage.

Drew Crawford had 20 points for Northwestern (10-11, 3-5), which had won three of four.
