CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

UNI opened strong and finished strong as the Panther train kept chugging along with a 24-10 win over 7th ranked Missouri.  The win was the second over a top 10 team in just the past week.

The Panthers opened with victories from Dylan Peters at 125 and Joe Colon at 133 as both remained perfect on the season.  At 141, 14th ranked Joey Lazor nearly lost his perfect status trailing Trevor Jauch 4-2 with 10 seconds remaining.  Lazor, however, picked up a stalling point and got the takedown as time expired to win 5-4.

Cody Caldwell provided another come from behind victory at 174 pounds rallying in the third period to defeat #19 Mikey England 10-7.  Fifth ranked 184 pounder Ryan Loder followed that with a 26 second pin to seal the team victory as the Panthers moved to a perfect 7-0 on the season.

UNI is just one of 3 undefeated teams remaining in the top 10.
