P.K. O'Handley can now be called the most successful coach in USHL history. Waterloo defeated Team USA on Saturday night giving O'Handley his 530th career win in the league moving him past former Omaha coach Mike Hastings on top of the USHL's all-time list. He won the first 140 games of his career as coach of Mason City's North Iowa Huskies.
New Black Hawks' net minder Cameron Johnson stopped 46 shots on the night. Peter Krieger and Tyler Sheehy tallied goals in the win.
The victory was 11th straight for the Black Hawks who trail first place Omaha by just one point. Waterloo, however, has a higher win percentage having played 3 fewer games than the Lancers.
