AUSTIN, Texas (KWWL) -

After winning 14 straight, Iowa State has fallen in to a downward spiral.  Texas took over in the second half as the 8th ranked Cyclones dropped their 3rd straight 86-76.

Melvin Ejim led Iowa State with 17, while DeAndre Kane added 15.  As a team, however, ISU again failed to overcome poor shooting as they hit just 39%

Jonathan Holmes scored 23 points and Cam Ridley had 16 points and 11 rebounds in the win for Texas.  The Longhorns have won 3 straight Big 12 games after starting out 0-2.
