CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A Cedar Rapids man faces charges after police say he broke into a church while wielding a samurai sword.

Officers were called to First Presbyterian Church at 310 5th Avenue SE at 3:03 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a person with a samurai sword breaking windows on the church.

Police say 34-year-old Jerrald Meek then entered the church and confronted the pastor.
