Warmer temps, wintry mix creating tricky travel

After a couple of days of below-zero temperatures, things are beginning to warm up -- but that is bringing a wintry mix with it that is creating tricky travel.

KWWL meteorologists continue to track a low pressure system that is bringing precipitation to the are that has the potential to fall in the form of rain, freezing rain and snow.

Travel has already become tricky in some areas, including Black Hawk County.

I-380 northbound at the Raymond Road exit was closed for a short time while crews responded to an accident.

Tow bans have been put in place in parts of south-central Iowa due to the rapidly-changing weather conditions.
