MORNING and NOON ANCHOR/REPORTER
KWWL, the powerful NBC affiliate in market 90, is seeking an experienced, accomplished co-anchor for our AM and Noon newscasts.
If you're passionate about news and about the issues that affect our Iowa viewers, and you have significant TV reporting and anchoring experience, we want to talk to you.
The Waterloo-Cedar Rapids-Dubuque-Iowa City market offers a great quality of life, with numerous colleges and universities, great recreation and close proximity to Minneapolis, Chicago and Des Moines.
KWWL produces over 29 hours of local news each week, including our 2.5-hour morning show and our hour-long noon newscast.
We're looking for a serious journalist who is as comfortable in a live ad-lib situation as they are reading a prompter. You'll help write and produce our morning and noon shows, conduct live newsmaker interviews and represent the station at community events.

This is definitely NOT an entry-level job. A minimum of 2 years of experience anchoring local news is required. Familiarity with Iowa issues is a plus.
