DUBUQUE (KWWL) -
Dubuque police have arrested a woman wanted on 16 warrants that include 24 charges.
On January 9, Dubuque police asked for the public's help in finding 24-year-old Nikola Fuller, who was wanted for 11 counts of forgery, one count of fifth degree theft, multiple failure to appear charges, and five probation violations.
Lieutenant Scott Baxter then announced on Wednesday that Dubuque police helped the U.S. Marshals arrest Fuller at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at 1831 Jackson Street after learning that she might be staying there.
Fuller was arrested on multiple city & county warrants for forgery, theft, probation violation and failure to appear.
In addition, officers arrested 34-year-old Garrett Brokus and 29-year-old Jeremy Bakken, who were both in the apartment with Fuller.
Brokus was arrested on a warrant for probation violation and a felony burglary warrant out of Jo Daviess County, Illinois.
Bakken was arrested on warrants for failure to appear and interference with official acts.
Fuller and Bakken are also charged with trespass for the going into the apartment next door to hide from police.
Fuller is being held in the Dubuque County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond. Brokus is being held without bond. Bakken is being held on a $5,000 cash bond.
The investigation continues and Baxter says additional charges are likely against Fuller.
