UNI crushes Evansville 80-53

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (KWWL) -

The UNI Panthers snapped a two game losing streak at Evansville by crushing the Purple Aces 80-53 at the Ford Center. Northern Iowa had three players in double figures led by Matt Bohannon with 17. Seth Tuttle chipped in 14 and Wes Washpun scored 12 points. The Panthers shot 51 percent from the field and 47 percent from three point range.  UNI led 43-24 at halftime and cruised to their second MVC win in 3 games, the Panthers are now 8-7 overall.
