Dubuque fire chief Dan Brown announces retirement

Dubuque fire chief Dan Brown will retire later this year after a 32-year career with the department.

Chief Brown will retire in late August.  He's served as fire chief since 1996.

Recruitment for Brown’s replacement will begin in early February, with the goal of picking the next chief to happen in June.
