TAMPA, Fla. (KWWL) -

Hawk fans invaded Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida Wednesday for the Outback Bowl.

Tiger quarterback Anthony Jennings scored five minutes into the game on his option keeper-..a 2 yard touchdown run 7-0 LSU.

In the 3rd quarter, after the Tigers dropped an interception near the goal line...the Hawkeyes got on the board.  Mark Weisman had a 2 yard touchdown run--hawks trail just 14-7

it looked like the Tigers' Jeremey Hill put the nail in the coffin when he scampered to the end zone on this 38 yard td run, 21-7 LSU.. Hill had 216 yards for LSU.

But Jordan Cotton gave the Hawks new life with a spectacular, 96 yard kickoff return---he almost took it to the house, but stepped out on the 4 to give the Iowa offense a chance..

Hawks get a break here...CJ beathard in for the injured jake Rudock...this played was originally ruled a fumble..the hawks challenged and get it overturned.. Overturned to an incomplete pass

next play, C.J. Beathard finds Martin Manley open in the end zone for the Iowa touchdown....it's 21-14.

Last chance for the hawks... The onside kick---but it's recovered by LSU

LSU wins the outback bowl 21-14.
