Felon arrested after waving gun outside West Union Police Chief's house

WEST UNION (KWWL) - West Union Police Chief Brent Parker said he arrested a man outside his own home on Wednesday.

In a statement, Parker said he saw 49 year-old Doug Bunn holding a shotgun while having an altercation with another individual outside.

Parker said he ran out of his residence after witnessing the altercation from his window and took Bunn into custody.

According to a press release, authorities in West Union seized multiple firearms from Bunn's home.

Bunn was arrested for possession of a firearm as a felon, going armed in a city and two counts of possession of paraphernalia; he is being held at the Fayette County Jail.
