Hawkeyes drop Nebraska 67-57 in Big Ten opener

Roy Devyn Marble led the way with 15 points as the Hawkeyes defeated Nebraska 67-57 to open their Big Ten slate.

Aaron White added 13 for the Hawkeyes (12-2, 1-0) who would lead by as many as 20 in the second half.  The Huskers gave them a late game scare when Terran Petteway hit a 3 to pull Nebraska within 5 at 60-55, but they would get no closer.

Iowa put it away making 7 of 10 free throws in the final 2 minutes.
