Snow ending tonight, but 2-4" of new snow Tuesday

WATERLOO (KWWL) - Snow will continue to fall in eastern Iowa but will taper off by midnight, bringing at least a trace to 2 inches or more of snow to parts of the KWWL viewing area.

More snow is expected to fall Tuesday into Wednesday, with 1-4 inches expected.

Most places will receive 2-4 inches of new snow, with isolated areas of 5 inches of new snow through Tuesday afternoon.

Cold temperatures will continue, with a slight warm-up this weekend.
