CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Harper and Jackson topped the list of most popular baby names at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids this year.

Harper was the most common name for girls, while Jackson was the most popular for boys.

Ella, Ava, Paisley, Grace and Reagan were a few other of the most popular choices for girls, while Bentley, Greyson, Henry, Isaac and Ryker were the top picks for boys.

At Mercy Medical Center this year, 53 percent of babies born were boys, and 47 percent were girls.

The most popular day of the year to give birth was September 4 – when 11 babies were born at the hospital. (Do the math, New Year's Eve revelers.)

Eight sets of twins were born at Mercy in 2013.
