Company makes custom wrapping paper for clients

Posted: Updated:
WATERLOO (KWWL) -

One Waterloo company has a unique way of spreading Christmas cheer.

Rather than send out the traditional Christmas card, Hellman Marketing sends out custom Christmas wrapping paper.

The paper has a different design on each side, ranging from Christmas recipes to children's art.

The company says it's just a different way to spread the holiday spirit.

"When we started doing the Christmas wrap, that kind of took over," said Hellman co-president Tony Luetkehans. "That became our Christmas card, so to speak -- something that our sales people can go and put across the desk of our client -- and it's a way to give them a little bit of Christmas cheer."

Hellman began sending out the Christmas wrap about 15 years ago, and the company says it has no plans of stopping.
