Iowa St. goes 11-0 for first time ever; wins Diamondhead Classic

HONOLULU (KWWL) -

Iowa State trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half, but came back to defeat Boise St. 70-66 in the championship game of the Diamondhead Classic Wednesday night.  The 14th-ranked Cyclones are now 11-0 on the season, their best start ever.  DeAndre Kane scored 23 points and hit a 3-pointer with less than 2 minutes left to seal the win.  Melvin Ejim had 15 points and 10 rebounds.  Derrick Marks had 23 points for Boise State.
