Two people injured in Jackson County shooting

JACKSON COUNTY (KWWL) -

Authorities in Jackson County are investigating a shooting. It happened at 34600 High Bridge Road in northern Jackson County.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office got a call Saturday around 11:15 p.m. about a woman who was stabbed and shot in the leg. The caller told authorities the suspect was still in the house.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office found the female victim is married to the suspect. During a domestic dispute, he shot the victim in the leg with a shotgun and the victim got a stab wound in the back.

Authorities found the suspect upstairs in the home. He shot himself.

Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. We don't know their conditions at this time.
