Waverly-SR wins two at the Waterloo West Wrestling Triangular

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

2A's fifth ranked West Delaware battles 3A's third ranked Waverly-Shell Rock in a triangular at Waterloo West.

At 195 the Go-Hawks' Thomas Foy pins the Hawks' Scott Taylor--

But West Delaware gets it back at 220..Will Wenger catches the Go Hawks Joe Webber riding high and gets the third period fall...

But Go-Hawk heavyweight Kaleb Staack gets a pin to end the meet-- and Waverly-Shell Rock's Spencer Derifield smiling here beats West Delaware's Jake Voss 6-2 in a battle of state's number one 160 pounders-- Go Hawks win the meet 44-27.

West Delaware's Jake Voss bounces back --pinning Waterloo West's Jaloni Goodson in the first period.

Waterloo West has a couple of top ranked wrestlers-- defending state champion Marcus Harrington pins Scott Taylor in the first period..

While at 220.. the Wahawks Kyler Matthews a state runner up last year--pins Will Wenger in the second period--but West Delaware easily wins the meet 56-21..
