DYERSVILLE (KWWL) -
The Iowa State Patrol says a person driving a Dodge pickup truck was hit by one vehicle and then hit a Dyersville squad car while running from police.
Troopers say a Dyersville officer tried to pull over a mid-2000's, black Dodge pickup at around 9:52 a.m. Thursday. They say that instead of stopping, the driver went through an intersection at 4th Avenue SE and 4th Street SE. The truck was hit by another car.
Troopers say the driver of the truck then backed into the Dyersville squad car, disabling it. The driver was then able to get away in the damaged truck.
The Iowa State Patrol told KWWL Thursday afternoon that the truck was found in Dyersville, but the driver still had not been found.
If you have any information, you are asked to call the Iowa State Patrol or the Dyersville Police Department.
