A crash in Grundy County early Friday morning killed a man from Marshalltown. The wreck happened on Highway 14, about two miles northwest of Conrad around 12:15 a.m.
The Grundy County Sheriff's Office says 47-year-old Seuam Lovan apparently lost control on the roadway, which was covered with snow and ice. Lovan entered the oncoming lane and collided with a semi pulling a livestock trailer.
There's no word on injuries to the semi's driver, 43-year-old Darin Kruse, of Lone Rock. There was $5,000 damage to his truck.
