DES MOINES (KWWL) -
A Des Moines man is in custody after robbing two teenagers and leaving one naked on the side of the road.

Des Moines police say Nicholas Jackson, 23, of Des Moines, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection to a robbery that took place last Thursday.

Police say a 19-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl reported that on Thursday, two masked and armed men jumped into their vehicle and demanded money and jewelry.

The girl was then ordered out of the vehicle. The other victim says he was taken somewhere on Highway 5, where he was told to remove his clothes and lie face down on the road.

Authorities say Jackson has been charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary with intentional or reckless bodily injury.

Police are still looking for the second suspect.
