Iowa City School District makes progress on facilities plan

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

The Iowa City School District is moving closer to finalizing a plan that would overhaul select school buildings in the district.

Our partners at the Iowa City Press-Citizen report Iowa City School Officials approved the first year in a 10 year plan.

The plan includes the closure of Hoover Elementary School.

School board officials will meet to discuss and possibly finalize the ten year plan in December.
