Job seekers in the Cedar Valley have some potential new employment opportunities after an announcement from CBE Companies November 12.
The business process outsourcing organization says that up to 400 jobs will be created in the next 12 to 18 months. Two-hundred of those positions must be filled by February. New jobs range from call center work, to management, to IT positions.
CBE Companies has offices in Cedar Falls and Waterloo and will look to open a third facility in the Cedar Valley within the next 15 months.
The Greater Cedar Valley Alliance and Chamber predicts this expansion will create an economic impact of nearly $18 million and will likely lead to more than 200 additional jobs created in other area businesses.
Those interested in applying for a job at CBE are encouraged to search open positions at www.CBEJobs.com. CBE is also hosting a job fair at its Cedar Falls office November 19.
