WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The community is invited to help raise money for future Honor Flights out of Waterloo.

Honor Flight takes eastern Iowa veterans to Washington, D.C. to see the monuments and memorials at no charge to the veterans.

Three flights are planned for 2014 out of Waterloo, but dates for those flights haven't been set yet.

You can help raise money for the flights by attending an event on Friday, November 22nd. The Honor Flight Benefit is at the Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo. Doors open at 6 p.m. Music and dancing with "Red Line" begins at 7 p.m.

The event also includes a raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 drawing.

Tickets are $10 each. They're available at the door or at Hy-Vee stores.
