Top ranked Don Bosco beats Springville 36-21

GILBERTVILLE (KWWL) -

And in eight player-- the Don Bosco cheerleaders at home to lead the top ranked Dons against Springville in a game of unbeatens.
    Jake Hogan shows once again, he's come to play---this, tough,  9-yard touchdown run gives Bosco the early lead.

    Later, Jake Hogan takes it in from the 1-yard line, and the unbeaten Dons go up 14-0.
    
    Springville gets new life on this 71-yard kickoff return from Tyler McDowell....He streaks down the sidelines to make it a 14-7 game.

    Kolton Markley scores for Springville on this 18-yard touchdown pass and suddenly, we have at tie game at 14..
    
Huge crowd on hand tonight for this showdown  in Gilbertville..

        But, Don Bosco takes the lead late in the second quarter, when Jake Hogan scores right up the middle from the 2....22-14 at half..
 
    3rd quarter----watch this 31-yard pass from Hogan to Travis Havel.  An outstretched Havel makes a spectacular catch for the touchdown reception and the Dons lead, 30-14. That's worth another look...What a grab by Havel..

The Orioles to just 21-points tonight in a 36-21
victory, sending the Dons  the semi-finals in the UNI-Dome next Thursday morning against undefeated Adair-Casey.
