IOWA CITY (KWWL) -
Administrators are now proposing that Hoover Elementary School close in 2019. That's later than the plan proposed last month.
The district will instead use a new elementary school to house students while other schools are being renovated instead of Hoover. It will cost more but means students will not move schools multiple times.
The school board is scheduled to vote on the proposal Tuesday.
