The Dubuque Fire Department rescued a man from the roof of City Hall Thursday morning.
Assistant Fire Chief Jay Imhof said a contractor doing repair work on the building's roof had a medical issue around 11:30 a.m. The man's medical problem was not related to the work he was doing, Imhof said.
The fastest way to get him down was using the fire department's cherry-picker, and the rescue was a success, Imhof said.
