DUNDEE (KWWL) -

There were only three people on the ballot for Dundee City Council, and with two open seats, things looked for pretty good for Scott Gibbs, Spencer Gibbs and Tom Gibbs.

That wasn't the case.

Scott and Spencer are father and son, while Tom is Scott's brother.

After write-in votes, no one from the Gibbs family was picked for a council position.

Unofficial results show Marsha Mescher and Glen Puffet as the highest vote getters, with 29 and 19, respectively.

Scott Gibbs had the highest vote count among the family members, at 14.
