WATERLOO (KWWL) - Voters have spoken in Waterloo and Buck Clark will serve yet another term as Waterloo's mayor.

Clark celebrated his victory with a handful of supporters, and a few city councilmen, at Jameson's Public House in downtown Waterloo.

He said he expected to win even though voter turnouts are typically pretty low for municipal elections.

"Municipal government is what runs our city, grades the road, picks up garbage, keeps the golf course, swimming pools and all those things," Clark said. "It's so incredibly important, yet turnout is so low."

"So thank you to all the people that turned out and that voted," he added.

Clark said he appreciates the support from voters and said he'll continue serving Waterloo with pride.
