Authorities seek help in nabbing person responsible for poisoning dogs in Prairieburg

LINN COUNTY (KWWL) - The Linn County Sheriff’s Office and Linn County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in solving a case where animals were intentionally poisoned in Prairieburg, Iowa.

Authorities believe the incident happened between October 23rd and October 24th when pieces of meat laced with poison were placed in several yards and dog kennels along East Main Street in Prairieburg.

If you have information regarding this or any crime, you are asked to call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME (272-7463) or text  CRIMES (274637) and in the message/subject, type 5227 and your tip.

Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.
