BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -
Two people were injured Tuesday morning after two SUV's collided at the intersection of Highway 218 and Bennington Road.
Black Hawk County Sheriff Tony Thompson says a Ford Explorer driven by 44-year-old Angela Wilder of Coral Springs, Florida was headed east on Bennington Road and failed to yield for a northbound Ford Explorer driven by 42-year-old Brian Outcalt of Waterloo.
Deputies say Wilder's vehicle hit Outcalt's vehicle, sending Outcalt's SUV into the ditch where it rolled over several times.
Outcalt was rescued after being trapped in the vehicle and was taken to Allen Hospital with what deputies call relatively minor injuries.
Outcalt's passenger, 47-year-old Toni McCaffery of Waterloo was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Wilder was not injured, but was ticketed for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.
