Marion nutrition store robbed; suspect on the loose

Marion police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of robbing the General Nutrition Center at 1384 Twixt Town Road on Sunday.

A younger white man, about 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds, walked into the store at around 1:10 p.m., said he had a gun and demanded money, according to Chief Harry Daugherty.

He then ran toward Collins Road.

Police say the suspect was wearing a dark-colored hooded coat, dark ski mask, and dark gloves. They also say no gun was actually seen.
