Gladbrook-Reinbeck beats Turkey Valley to advance in State Playoffs

GLADBROOK (KWWL) -

In Class A. Gladbrook-Reinbeck hosts Turkey Valley.
 
    First drive of the game, and it's Dustin Dinsdale with the inside handoff, he breaks it outside and he's gone on a 52 yard-touchdown run and that makes it 7-zip Gladbrook-Reinbeck.
    On the ensuing kickoff, the squibber is picked up Eric Buchendahl who takes it down the right side, through the defenders and he would make it down to the ten-yard-line.
    The Trojans finish the short drive with Riley Meirich's short run.
    Two-point conversion is good to make it 8-7.
    After a Rebel fumble, Turkey Valley capitalizes.
    Luke Kuennen with some tough running into the end zone and it's 14-7.
    Trojan fans are happy.
    Still in the first quarter, Rebel quarterback Camden Kickbush on the keeper, he's going to take it himself, break a tackle and dive for the end zone and he's in for the score.
    That cuts it to 14-13 Turkey Valley.
    Rebels would get some turnovers in the second half and go on to win 34-22.. Gladbrook-Reinbeck meets Wapsie Valley in the quarterfinals.
