Mother of skydiving accident survivor speaks out

This weekend, a man survived a plane crash over Wisconsin by skydiving to safety.

Monday, KWWL caught up with his mother, who lives in Waterloo.

When the two planes collided Saturday, Marge Robinson's son, Mike, was inside getting ready for a skydive. Because of the crash, he and eight other jumpers bailed out early, and parachuted to safety.

His mother said there's no use worrying.

"Well, I think about it, but I won't say I worry about it," Robinson said. "It's not going to do me any good ... It's not going to stop him skydiving."

Robinson said she didn't even know about the accident until her son called to say he was alright.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
