UPDATE: Crews respond to a house fire in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) - Cedar Rapids Fire crews responded to a house fire in the 1500 block of Bever Ave. SE. Friday afternoon.
It happened shortly after 5 p.m.
Fire officials tell KWWL one adult and at least two children managed to get out of the home safely, but are displaced. 
The fire began in the basement and caused extensive damage to the immediate area. However, authorities are not sure what caused the fire.
