Kennedy blitzes Prairie 42-14

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids Kennedy takes on Cedar Rapids Prairie in the night cap at Kingston Stadium.

In the first quarter, Kennedy's Miles Moa running for 27 yards deep into Prairie territory. This would lead to a short Terrance Hall touchdown run. Cougars strike first 7-0.

Prairie rallied with a Mitch Christensen 4-yard touchdown run to knot the game at 7.

In the 2nd quarter, Kennedy would come back with a big play on 3rd down. Derek Jacoubus rolling left and hits Jacob Shannon who fights his way into the end zone.

Cougars led 14-7 at halftime.

And Cedar Rapids Kennedy exploded for 28 points in the 2nd half to win 42-14.
