DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

All kinds of candy and costumes filled the streets of downtown Dubuque Monday night.

It was part of the annual Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA Halloween Parade.

More than 50 parade entries ranging from local businesses to youth activity groups wow'd the thousands of people who showed up Monday night along the route.

KWWL even had an entry in the parade!

"We are so excited to be here tonight," Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA CEO Sharon Covey said. "It's the biggest parade in Dubuque and it's a long-standing tradition and it is just exciting to see all the kids and the families out having a great time tonight."

Earlier in the evening, the Dubuque Museum of Art held its fourth annual Pumpkins on Parade. Pumpkin-carving artists of all ages displayed their masterpieces in this free and family-friendly fall event.
