IOWA CITY (AP) -
Police say a man faces charges for allegedly breaking into an Iowa City house and sleeping on a couch inside.
Iowa City police say 23-year-old Christopher Reasoner, of North Liberty, has been charged with serious misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and trespassing.
The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports (http://icp-c.com/1f086zf ) Reasoner is accused of forcing open two cellar doors and entering the house. A resident allegedly found Reasoner on Aug. 18 sleeping on a couch.
Police say the resident did not know Reasoner and did not invite him to sleep on the couch. Reasoner left after the resident requested it. A backpack with Reasoner's contact information was later found in the basement.
