Dog-o-ween celebrated in Dubuque

Posted: Updated:

It was a different type of Halloween celebration Sunday afternoon at a Dubuque retailer.

Many people lined the aisles of Theisens to catch a glimpse of an unusual sight -- dogs in Halloween costumes.

It was all a part of Theisens' annual Dog-o-ween event.

This year, 80 dogs walked through the center of the store dressed as different characters. Dog costumes included lambs, a dinosaur, and even a magician.

Dubuque's Dog-o-ween helps raise funds for the Dubuque Regional Humane Society.
