CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

It's the last week of the high school football regular season and tonight--two playoff bound teams tangle on a Thursday night.

Cedar Falls at 5-3 plays host to a 4-4 Dubuque Hempstead squad

Cedar Falls looking to improve its postseason seeding---and maybe secure a home game at the dome with a win tonight--

But its Hempstead that comes out on fire...Matt Zenner fields a c-f punt  at his own 15 and then makes the magic happen--weaving his way for a 55 yard return to the  Tiger 30 yard line.

And then its Matt Zenner finishing the drive with a nice 20 yard dash to paydirt-- Hempstead grabs a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter.

Both teams struggled the rest of the half on offense--- Cedar Falls kicker Aaron Iehl nails a 39 yard field goal right before halftime to cut the Hempstead lead to 7-3...

And Cedar Falls rallies to win this game 19-16 on an Eli Berrgard touchdown run in overtime.
