Waterloo man accused of violating no contact order and stabbing woman

BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Waterloo man was arrested Thursday morning after police say he violated a no contact order and stabbed a woman.

Waterloo police were called to University Studios East, 3350 University Avenue, room 246, at around 2:10 a.m. Thursday for a reported stabbing.

When they arrived, officers found a 41-year-old woman with a cut to her neck. She was treated on scene for her injuries.

Police arrested 47-year-old Dautrail Lamont Bell. He is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail charged with violation of a no contact order and serious domestic assault.
