Justin joined KWWL in October 2013 as a reporter covering the Iowa City area. He comes to us from KTVO in Kirksville, Missouri, where he was a weekend anchor and reporter.
While there he covered the city’s first murder in more than six years, as well as exposing a meth problem so pervasion that the state of Missouri leads the nation in it. He also was sent to Colorado to help cover the Black Forest wildfires.
Before KTVO, Justin worked as an associate producer and fill-in assignment editor at KMBC, a Hearst-affiliate in Kansas City, Missouri.
Justin is thrilled to be an Iowan and ready to tell your stories.
When Justin’s not reading the news, writing the news, or delivering the news, he enjoys writing, catching up on Law and Order and hanging with friends.
Justin is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
